Corson County CED Bill Chase and PT Doug Hofer visited McIntosh School grades Preschool thru 6 grade and did Ag In Classroom. They handed out FSA coloring books, a picture of a goat to color, talked to the kids about different goats and agriculture, gave out bottles of water and a goat feed “ human food” and talked about 4 part stomachs. Then the kids got to visit with “Alice” one of Doug’s goats.

Sully County
Spink County and Dawn Nagel from Sully County. They are all participants in Class VII of the South Dakota Ag and Rural Leadership program. This picture was taken on our tour to the Washington, D.C. area, at a hog farm in Maryland.
It is an 18 month program exposing participants to all facets of Agriculture in SD, the nation and ending with an international seminar. Their class will also be going to Chile/Peru.

Ziebach County
Ziebach county said a sad farewell to county committee person Jace Birkeland, who served 3 consecutive terms. We enjoyed Cake and ice cream with Jace to thank him for his 9 years of service on our committee.
