Don’t forget to sign up for the “Members Only” Registration through the NASCOE website. Go to
the Benefits page, and click on the Members Only Registration.  Use your personal/home email,
not your work email. This is the only way you’ll receive benefits such as the Sam’s Club discount.
Speaking of Sam’s Club, at the time of printing this report, there is no discount coupon being
offered. I know they’re trying to keep it current so that nobody falls through the time lapse. Keep
checking it. I’m trying to stay on top of it, but sometimes I don’t get to it like I should.

Cell phone discounts: With the Alltel/AT&T merger, please watch your bills. The discount should
carry over with the merger, but it will be your responsibility to be sure it does. I hear that, in most
cases, it has not. I received this message from a SDASCOE member:

I got my AT&T bill for my cell phone and noticed the 15% discount didn’t carry over from Altel.  I
called and got this address to enroll for it. www.att.com/wirelessdiscounts. You will need to use
your work email for this, since that’s how they verify you are a government employee.

Once again, we’re facing a few difficulties with the retired employees, since they don’t have a
work email to use. If you run into that problem, give me a call.

If you don’t have an employee’s discount, AT&T and Verizon both offer discounts for SDASCOE
members. The discounts vary at times.

Computer Discounts:  Dell Company (www.dell.com) and Hewlett-Packard (www.hp.com) both
offer government discounts. The discount and the discounted products change on a regular
basis. Check out the websites for further details.

NASCOE Travel: Once again I’ll put a plug in for the NASCOE Travel. Book all of your travel
needs through www.nascoetravel.com. NASCOE travel is a great benefit for our organization.
Anyone can use this site, so tell your friends and families. Check www.nascoe.org Benefits page
for updated newsletters that highlight specials. The site has some amazing features. You can
book tickets to sporting events, concerts, buy flowers, etc. You can book car rentals, hotel
rooms, airline tickets. The more we use the site, the more we benefit NASCOE’s budget through
the commissions earned.

Have a great, safe summer!
