NASCOE (SDASCOE) works hard for employee/membership benefits. Be sure to support the
efforts by becoming active members and taking advantage of those benefits.
JM Marketing:
Our biggest benefit, as NASCOE members, is the money we can save on insurance policies
through JM Marketing. As a NASCOE member, you save about $61/year on the cancer and
intensive care policy. There is also dental insurance available. A JM Marketing representative will
be present at the SDASCOE Convention and will be available for questions.
Sam’s Club Membership Coupon:
Sam’s Club is once again offering a $10 Gift Card to NASCOE/RASCOE members when they sign
up for a new Sam’s Club Membership or renew an existing membership by April 11, 2010. For

Cell phone discounts:
There continue to be changes with cell phone discounts available for NASCOE members. Give
me a call if you’re interested in any of the discounts available. I’ll get you in contact with a
representative who will help you with your request. There have been problems with retired
employees who do not have e-mail. If you run into this problem, give me a call. We’ll take care of
it!
Amusement Park discounts:
Family vacation time is creeping right up on us again, if we ever get through this winter! It seems
like it’s easier and faster to go to the individual amusement park or go through the nascoetravel.
com site to check out discounts for amusement parks than it is to get other information. But I’ll
sure try to help you out with any of these requests, too.
Dell/HP Computers:
Dell Company (www.dell.com) and Hewlett-Packard (www.hp.com) both offer government
employees discounts. The discounts and the discounted products change on a regular basis.
Check out the websites and navigate to “Government, Health, and Education” or similar links for
further details. The web sites are quite user-friendly.
NASCOE Travel:
Book all your travel needs through www.nascoetravel.com. Be sure to check www.nascoe.org
Benefits page for updated newsletters that highlight specials. In addition to airline tickets, hotel
rooms, and car rentals, you can book tickets to games, NASCAR, concerts, etc. The more we use
the site, the more we benefit NASCOE’s budget.
